The planting for the year begin in spring. Spring is warmth, with songs of birds, and the fragrance of flowers.And spring is a time for growth, cultivation, and sowing. In this vibrant season, on the afternoon of March 7th, the Department of Physical Education’s union held a Celebration of International Women’s Day: Women’s Staff Gardening Training Activity.
During the activity, the floral teacher explained the planting methods while teaching everyone about the daily care of succulent plants, including common issues such as watering and sunlight. She also demonstrated the methods and steps for planting succulents in pots. The female staff members were eager to try it out, and each of them held small tools and enthusiastically got involved in the planting process. As they followed the instructor’s guidance, they also worked on creating their own pieces. In an instant, they filled the pots with soil, arranged the colors, and planted the succulents, resulting in beautifully crafted succulent arrangements.
In recent years, succulent plants have become increasingly popular. These small, fleshy plants possess a strong vitality and have become a favorite choice for home and office greenery. Spring and autumn are excellent seasons for caring for succulents. To allow female staff members to experience the joy of spring during the holiday and to enhance their gardening knowledge and quality, a creative DIY activity for planting succulent arrangements was organized in celebration of the International Women’s Day. As they planted their own creations, they filled the pots with soil, arranged the colors, and planted the succulents, resulting in beautifully crafted succulent arrangements.
Through this training activity, everyone experienced the joy of pot planting and gained a deeper understanding of succulent plants.
