On the afternoon of March 21st, the central group of the Department of Physical Education held a centralized learning meeting in Room 309 of Zhentai Building. The meeting was presided over by Zhao Hongliang, Secretary of the General Party Branch of the Department of Physical Education.

At the meeting, Zhao Hongliang led the study of Xi Jinping’s important speech at the First Session of the Fourteenth National People’s Congress.

General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out that the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation has entered an irreversible historical process. From now until the middle of this century, the comprehensive building of a modern socialist country and the comprehensive promotion of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation are the central tasks of the entire Party and the people of the whole country. On the new journey of building a strong nation and achieving national rejuvenation, we must unswervingly promote high-quality development, always adhere to putting the people first, better coordinate development and security, steadily advance the practice of “One Country, Two Systems” and the cause of national reunification, and strive to promote the building of a shared future for humanity; governing the country must start with governing the Party, and the Party’s prosperity is essential for the nation’s prosperity. The grand goal of building a strong nation and achieving national rejuvenation is inspiring and calls for our tireless efforts.

Zhao Hongliang also led everyone to carefully study Xi Jinping’s keynote speech at the Dialogue Meeting between High-Level Representatives of the Communist Party of China and World Political Parties.
