On the afternoon of March 21st, the Department of Physical Education held the 2022 Faculty Ethics and Annual Assessment Meeting in Room 101 of Zhen Tai Building, chaired by the Dean of Department of Physical Education, Wei Jian.

At the meeting, Wei Jian, the Dean of the Department of Physical Education, introduced the relevant situation of the faculty ethics assessment and annual appraisal for the 2022 academic year at our school. He also emphasized the basic principles of the department’s assessment work, announced the completion of scientific research for the year, and even put forward requirements for individual performance reviews and democratic evaluations.

According to the department’s annual assessment plan, faculty and staff conducted their performance reviews in units of teaching research offices and individual offices. Based on individual performance reviews, democratic evaluations were organized. Based on the results of the democratic evaluations, in conjunction with the performance of faculty and staff in their duties, the Leadership Group for Faculty Ethics and Annual Assessment of the Department of Physical Education in 2022 conducted a comprehensive review and put forward recommendations for the grading of faculty and staff participating in this year’s assessment work.

At the meeting, Director Wei Jian also explained the school’s efforts to strengthen professional construction and provided an interpretation of the school’s latest issued documents: Notice on the Issuance of the Points Management Method for Mass Sports Activities of Students in Secondary Colleges of Zhongyuan University of Technology (ZUT) (中工学〔2023〕3号) and Notice on the Issuance of the Implementation Plan for the National Student Physical Fitness Standard Grade Certificate System (Trial) of Zhongyuan University of Technology (ZUT) (中工教〔2023〕5号).
