To enrich the campus culture and sports activities and promote the development of school sports in the new era, our school’s men’s basketball team, women’s basketball team and men’s volleyball team recently held a series of friendly matches with teams from The College of Henan Procuratorial Profession, Henan University of Technology, Henan Mechanical and Electrical Vocational College, Zhengzhou University of Economics and Business, etc. at our university.

Our university’s athletic teams approach competitions with utmost seriousness, exhibiting unwavering enthusiasm and a high level of commitment. They dedicate themselves fully to the games, embodying a courageous and tenacious spirit. Adhering to the principle of “friendship first, competition second,” the competition venues maintain order and discipline. This demonstrates the athletes’ exceptional training level and their collaborative teamwork.

Following the match, both coaches provided feedback to their players, encouraging them to learn from their experiences, both positive and negative. They emphasized the importance of teamwork and collaboration in their quest for continual improvement. Additionally, they offered specific suggestions aimed at refining individual skills and enhancing performance.

Led by the Competition Management Center of the Department of Physical Education, our school’s athletic teams have been diligently engaged in daily training, actively seeking out competition opportunities. Through this “training through competition” approach, we aim to cultivate a distinctive style, enhance skill levels, prepare for provincial competitions, strengthen inter-school bonds, and tirelessly strive for the continuous progress and development of our school’s sports program.
