On September 12th afternoon, The Department of Physical Education held a joint Party and administrative meeting in Room 309 of Zhentai Building. The meeting focused on studying the top priority issue and discussing important departmental matters. And it was chaired by Zhao Hongliang, the Secretary of the General Party Branch. All members of the central group participated.

At the meeting, Zhao Hongliang,Secretary of the General Party Branch of the Department of Physical Education led the participants in the study of the top priority issue first, and then he led all participants learned a letter from President Xi Jinping to representatives of outstanding teachers across the country on the occasion of the 39th Teachers’ Day. He urged everyone to be models in words and deeds and strive to be qualified people’s teachers in accordance with President Xi Jinping’s requirements. Secretary Zhao Hongliang led the Central Leading Group in a collective study of President Xi Jinping’s important thoughts on strengthening and improving ethnic work, and his important pronouncements on religious work. The group members deeply grasped the essence and rich connotations of these ideas, further elevating their ideological understanding and firmly shouldering their political responsibility.

Director Wei Jian introduced the candidate for the Deputy Director position of the Teaching and Research Section, and the attendees voted to approve the nomination.
