The “Oudier Cup” National University Tennis Invitational Tournament, held at Henan Normal University, concluded successfully on October 12th. Our university’s tennis instructor, Dong Zeyu, fought his way through two days of intense competition, ultimately securing third place in the men’s doubles.

The participants in this invitational tournament are physical education teachers from various universities across the country, with over a hundred competitors, all possessing strong specialized athletic skills. Dong Zeyu, a tennis instructor from our university, who faced the pressure of frequent matches with unwavering determination, contesting every point and battling hard. He managed to adapt to the challenges of declining physical fitness, showcasing exceptional tactical awareness and remarkable courage. He fought tirelessly through each group stage and qualifying round, demonstrating a high level of tennis skill and strategy even when exhausted. His performance showcased the exemplary character and outstanding professionalism of the physical education instructors from Zhongyuan University of Technology in front of their peers from national universities.
