On the afternoon of November 14th, the assessment team led by Zhan Jinhao and Yue Ruifeng, the deputy chairmen of the Teacher Union, visited the Department of Physical Education for research. A symposium was held in Room 309 of Zhentai Building, where the construction of the “Small Home for Faculty Members” was also inspected on-site. The symposium was hosted by Zhao Hongliang, the Secretary of the Party General Branch of the Department of Physical Education, with the participation of Wei Jian, the Director of the Department of Physical Education, Wang Ning, the Chairman of the Sub-Teacher Union, and the head of the office.

At the meeting, Wang Ning introduced the basic situation of the Sub-Teacher Union of the Department of Physical Education, presented the difficulties in the construction of the “Small Home for Faculty Members”, and shared his thoughts on how to further improve the union's services to the faculty and staff.

Zhan Jinhao said that this sub-union assessment is not only an acceptance inspection for the staff family, but also an opportunity to promote construction and reform through evaluation. It not only explores how to carry out various services for staff and faculty more effectively, but also a measure for the school union to send warmth to the sub-union. Zhan Jinhao pointed out that when the school is experiencing financial constraints, the Teacher Union will try to organize recreational and sports activities that are popular among staff and faculty to ensure the normal distribution of existing staff benefits. He hoped that the Department of Physical Education would give strong support to the recreational and sports activities organized by the Teacher Union.

During the symposium, participants engaged in a heated discussion on how to better carry out union activities. Zhao Hongliang concluded by saying that the Department of Physical Education sub-union would definitely give strong support to the Teacher Union’s various recreational and sports activities, conscientiously study and understand the quantitative evaluation indicators for sub-union assessments, and strive to build a good staff family according to the standards and benchmarks.
