On the afternoon of November 21st, the Theoretical Study Center Group of the Department of Physical Education held a collective study session in Room 309 of Zhentai Building, hosted by Zhao Hongliang, the Secretary of the General Party Branch, with all members of the Center Group participating in the study.

First, Secretary Zhao led the members of the Center Group in the first topic of learning, delving into the important article titled Several Major Relationships Need to Be Handled Well in Advancing Ecological Civilization Construction published by General Secretary Xi Jinping in the magazine Qiushi.

The article points out that with the in-depth advancement of the practice of ecological civilization construction in the new era, our understanding of the regularities of ecological civilization construction has continued to deepen. Summarizing the practical experience of the past decade in the new era and analyzing the new situations and new problems currently faced, we must continue to promote ecological civilization construction under the guidance of the socialist ecological civilization thought with Chinese characteristics for a new era, and correctly handle several major relationships. First, the relationship between high-quality development and high-level protection. Second, the relationship between key battles and coordinated governance. Third, the relationship between natural restoration and artificial restoration. Fourth, the relationship between external constraints and internal driving forces. Fifth, the relationship between the “dual carbon” commitment and independent action.

Secretary Zhao emphasized that the comprehensive promotion of the construction of a beautiful China and the acceleration of modernization with harmonious coexistence between man and nature cannot be achieved without the efforts of everyone.
