On the morning of February 7th, as the Spring Festival of 2024 was approaching, Zhao Hongliang, Secretary of the General Party Branch of the Department of Physical Education, and Wei Jian, the Director, extended their warm regards to comrade Zhao Nie, a former leader of the Department of Physical Education. The department’s work in sports teaching, group activities, sports training, teaching research, and scientific research had also shown a good momentum of development. These achievements were inseparable from the solid foundation laid and significant contributions made by the former leaders. They hoped that the former leaders would continue to leverage his experience and expertise, and as always, care about and support the development of the Department of Physical Education by providing valuable suggestions and opinions. Zhao Nie expressed his delight at the development trend of the Department of Physical Education and had in-depth discussions and exchanges with the Party and Administration leaders of the department on issues such as improving the planning of sports facilities in the new campus, enhancing the quality of sports education and teaching, accelerating the recruitment of high-level faculty, and exploring sports majors that meet social needs.
