The Department of Physical Education’s Theory Learning Center Group Organizing Study on the Regulations on Disciplinary Sanctions of the Communist Party of China

On May 28th, the theoretical learning center group of the Department of Physical Education convened a special meeting to deeply study and discuss the Regulations on Disciplinary Action of the Communist Party of China. The meeting was presided over by Zhao Hongliang, the Secretary of the General Party Branch of the Department of Physical Education, with all members participating in the study.

At the beginning of the meeting, Secretary Zhao Hongliang first emphasized the importance and urgency of studying the Regulations on Disciplinary Action of the Communist Party of China. He pointed out that the newly revised provisions in the Regulations on Disciplinary Action of the Communist Party of China regarding the punishment for engaging in speculation and intrigue, making friends with political swindlers or being used by them, and party members acting as political swindlers, represent another significant measure by the Central Committee of the Party to strengthen the construction of the Party's political ecology under the new situation of comprehensive and strict governance of the Party. The aim is to further regulate the behavior of Party members and purify the Party's atmosphere.

During the meeting, everyone studied the specific content of the newly added provisions clause by clause and conducted an in-depth analysis in conjunction with actual cases. Throughout the learning process, it was widely expressed that these new provisions are highly targeted and operable, and they are of great significance for preventing and punishing speculation and other unhealthy practices within the Party.

During the discussion and exchange session, all members actively spoke up, sharing their learning experiences and insights. There was a consensus that, as Party members and officials, it is necessary to always maintain a clear mind, firmly resist various forms of speculative behavior, and be loyal, clean, and responsible. At the same time, it is also important to strengthen self-supervision, consciously abide by the Party’s discipline and rules, and take practical actions to maintain the Party’s unity and solidarity.

In his concluding remarks, Secretary Zhao pointed out that this study session was a very timely and necessary activity. Through the study, everyone has gained a deeper understanding of the newly added provisions of the Regulations on Disciplinary Action of the Communist Party of China. He called on all members to transform the outcomes of their learning into work motivation and practical actions, and to promote the various tasks of the Department of Physical Education to a new level with even greater enthusiasm and a more solid work style.

Before the meeting, the Central Theoretical Study Group conducted a serious study on the first topic, specifically focusing on the important instructions recently given by Xi Jinping, General Secretary of the CPC Central Committee, President of the People's Republic of China, and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, on the construction of ideological and political courses in schools. Combining the actual situation of the department, arrangements and deployments were made to effectively implement the spirit of these important instructions. (Reporter: Zhang Zhenhua)
