On the afternoon of August 28th, the Department of Physical Education convened a new semester work meeting in Room 101 of Zhen Tai Building to further study the spirit of the work conference of our school for the second half of 2024, and to arrange the work tasks for the new semester. The meeting was presided over by Zhao Hongliang, the Secretary of General Party Branch, and all faculty and staff participated.

At the meeting, Wei Jian pointed out that Principal Xia's report is rich in content and detailed in data. It not only affirms the various achievements our school has made in the past six months, but also highlights the shortcomings that still exist. It makes us realize that work style directly affects work effectiveness. We need address the problems, clarify our goals, and strive to make progress in order to complete key tasks for this year, such as the establishment of our university application and review assessment. Secretary Jia's concluding remarks are also an earnest expectation for all faculty and staff. We should strengthen the study of the Spirit of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th CPC Central Committee, achieve zero deviation in thought; demonstrate the spirit of ownership, possess a high degree of execution, to ensure zero deviation in the advancement of all work. Make a greater contribution to the mission of establishing Henan University of Electronic Technology!

Wei Jian emphasized that this semester will be a new term full of hope and challenges to our school. The review and evaluation of undergraduate education and the application for the establishment of Henan University of Electronic Technology are about to complete. The sports work of this semester will also be fully launched. We will work together to create a strong campus sports atmosphere, making sports an indispensable part of campus life, and contribute more to the cultivation of well-rounded socialist builders and successors with moral, intellectual, physical, aesthetic, and labor education. Director Wei also put forward further requirements for teaching, scientific research, and guidance of sports clubs.
